We are living in changing days and I'm sure the whole thought of going back to school, with the restrictions and policies was a conversation in your homes for weeks. Our prayers have been with you as parents. We too have been facing many changes in the rhythm and flow of ministry life at Faithway. After much prayer and consideration our Awana Leaders have decided to postpone the re-opening of our Awana club to January 2021. This has not been an easy decision to make, as we have seen our club grow over the last two seasons, but we feel it is the best decision considering everything.
We are going to revisit our decision at the Beginning of November, trusting that things will have changed for the good in relation to restrictions around Covid- 19.
You are in our prayer, Awana Family
At Faithway we meet every Tuesday night from September 10th - April 14th
(with 3 weeks off for Christmas and 1 week off for march break) 6:30 - 8:00pm each week.
Please arrive early on our first night for registration!
What is Awana??
Awana is a weekly kids program found at lots of churches across the world! And we are so excited to be starting our second year at Faithway Baptist Church! We divide the kids up into 3 groups. Cubbies, Sparks and T&T. Each age group does things a little differently... geared to that specific age group. We work hard to build relationships with your kids while creating a fun environment for them to learn about how much God loves them.
Awana's mission is to empower the local church with biblical, relevant and easy to use discipleship programs.
Awana is dedicated to serving the local church and providing them with resources that engage children and youth in long-term discipleship, relationship and mentoring.
Kids and teens represent the greatest opportunity to make a long-term impact on our world for Christ. Awana establishes welcoming, supportive environments where kids and teens, from every background and cultural setting, learn how a personal relationship with Christ affects their everyday lives.
